Why
Join
The
mission of the SCW is to provide "connections" among alumni
in the area as well as to Stanford itself. The SCW is a local, independent,
self-supporting organization run by an enthusiastic group of local alumni
and parents who volunteer their time and effort to bring Stanford closer
to you.
We
sponsor local events that cover a broad range of interests, including
athletics, culture, family, adventure, book clubs, moms groups, and young
alums. We collaborate with the Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) to bring
a bit of Stanford to Seattle, including Stanford faculty speakers and
last year's Think Again conference. We hold events for local students,
including the Spring Admit party and the Frosh Sendoff. We help you stay
engaged to the greater Stanford community through our newsletters, directories,
email updates and events.
We
invite you to join the club and discover how you can "connect"
with Stanford here in the Seattle area.

You will receive emails describing club events until you tell us to take your name off the list. Our aim is simply to offer our events to the widest possible audience of Stanford affiliated people in Washington State.
Annual
SUPPORTING Membership Dues

$10:
Per household for email delivery of event information.
$15:
Per household with US Mail delivery of newsletters/event information.
Small discounts will be offered from time to time for certain events to thank those offering us assistance as supporting members. Both
options include all member benefits.
Who
can Join?
The
Stanford Club of Washington is open to all affiliates of Stanford, including
alumni, parents, spouses, etc.

How
to Join On-Line
Join
online here
Our online system enables you to join the SCW and update all of your Stanford
University contact records at the same time. You'll be asked to sign in
with (or create) your Stanford Alumni Association username and password.
How
to Join by Mail
If you'd rather
join by mail, please print out this form,
fill in your information, and send it with a check (payable to SCW) for
either $10 or $15, depending on your membership selection, to:

How
to Determine your Membership Status
Check the mailing
label on your newsletter or other mailings. If it does not say "07-08",
we have not received your renewal.
How
to Change your Address
The SCW leverages
the Stanford Alumni Association
online system for our membership database. This enables you to change
your contact information for all of your Stanford University records at
the same time. You'll be asked to sign in with (or create) your Stanford
Alumni Association username and password.
