Details

Come and see these remarkable original oil paintings circa 1700 to 1800 AD of the Russian royal family and their court on exhibit from the St. Petersburg Winter Palace painted by the leading woman painters of their day. A free one-hour tour by Frye art historian, Evelyn Burt, has been arranged for SCW members and guests.

This stunning exhibition of two and three hundred year old art shows 49 oil paintings, watercolors, and sculptures, most of which have never been viewed outside of Russia.

While you are there have a cup of rough cut black Russian tea in the coffee shop served and strained through a screen probably tasting much the same as samovar tea in the Winter Palace with Catherine the Great.
