The CityClub invites you to their Luncheon Forum this Friday, 9/26:
Making a Difference in the World, One Person at a Time

Amy Biehl, a Stanford graduate and Fullbright scholar, was tragically murdered while working in South Africa in 1993. Her family created the Amy Biehl foundation to address youth violence in South Africa.

John Hennessy, in his 2003 commencement address "Making a Difference" described her: "Amy Biehl demonstrated great personal vision, extraordinary perseverance and remarkable bravery. She took her responsibilities as an educated citizen very seriously. She dedicated her life to making a real difference in the world."

What is so compelling about Amy that in her honor, more than $5 million was raised and distributed in South Africa? Linda Biehl, as the featured panelist in the program, will be on hand to share the story of her daughter.
