Details:
Join a celebration of the 20-year long effort to protect the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Valley. One of King County's truly wild places, the Middle Fork is known for its forests, rugged peaks and whitewater rivers. The Cascade Land Conservancy is organizing this event, which includes hikes, a restoration project, and a cookout near the walls of Mt. Garfield. Mark Boyar, '81, a long-time leader in this effort, will lead a hike for Stanford alums and talk about the natural history and (once notoriously lawless) human history of the valley.

For more information and to RSVP email julieg@cascadeland.org (to join Mark's hike include "Stanford" in your email). You may also contact Mark at mboyar@practicepartner.com'
