Celebrated Winemaker: Sanitago Achaval
The highest rated vineyard founder and winemaker in Argentina is visiting Seattle (and The Local Vine)! Santiago Achaval, winemaker and owner of Achaval-Ferrer and Hand of God vineyards will be sharing his award winning Malbecs at The Local Vine event from 5:30- 7:30 pm. Santiago recently received a 98 point rating from Robert Parker. He and Jon Staenberg were classmates at Stanford Business School and have partnered up to bring out another label, "Hand of God." Both will be on-hand to taste and talk about the experience at the 5:30 pm public event.
This private reception prior to the Celebrity Winemaker event is sponsored by Stanford and Harvard alumni clubs in the area.
