Details: Participants serve in nonprofits, parks, schools, green spaces, and generally perform tasks like gardening, painting, cleaning, habitat restoration and sorting donations. This year we expect to perform a Community Service Project at an urban green space (TBA via email). All projects take place in Seattle. Join your fellow Stanford alums, friends, significant others, family, and other people committed to public service. This year we will join forces with alumni from Cornell, Yale, WSU and others. The mission of Seattle Works is to inform, connect, and inspire people in their 20s and 30s to take action in our community. Registration for the event is $30 per person. All participants receive an event t-shirt and an invitation to the afterparty, which includes food, beverages and entertainment. All proceeds benefit Seattle Works and support their year-round community engagement programs. For more information
