Details

Last year we had a great time with a huge turnout, so we are back by popular demand. You have seen it on the Winter Olympics... here is your chance to try it yourself! Curling is a team game (four person team) resembling shuffleboard, but played on ice. Seattle's own Granite Curling Club is the only curling club in the US on the West Coast. We will have members of the club on hand to teach you the basic skills. Within an hour, you will be sending "rocks" down the ice and sweeping them into the "house"!!!

We will have the entire club for Stanford alumni and their families. We will split into adult, youth and mixed groups. For those not curling themselves, there is a large, comfortable lounge with a TVand seating area where kids can play and you can watch the fun. You'll be on ice, so remember to dress warmly.
Important: You must wear athletic shoes if you plan to curl.
