Alumni and members of the Stanford Club of Washington:
An Evening with Stanford Professor Stephen R. Barley

Please join us Tuesday, February 7, for a fascinating and lively evening of lecture and discussion. Stephen R. Barley's talk will focus on the current trend to replace permanent employees with temporary workers and independent contractors in an effort to cut labor costs and enhance flexibility. Professor Barley is the Charles M. Pigott Professor of Management Science and Engineering and the Co-Director of the Center for Work, Technology and Organization at Stanford's School of Engineering. He is also the author of the recently published book, "Gurus, Hired Guns and Warm Bodies."

All ticket orders must be received by US mail; email orders will not be filled, nor will tickets be held based on an email request.
