Details:
Volunteers are sorely needed to help process bulk donations into family size packages for distribution. Northwest Harvest (http://www.northwestharvest.com) is the only statewide hunger relief agency in Washington, annually securing over 16 million pounds of food for distribution to local food banks. Northwest Harvest supplies this food, without fees of any kind, to over 300 food banks and meal programs across the state. In an average year, these programs provide approximately six million services to people in need. Get involved in a program that needs you, Stanford alums!
Directions:
Get onto Denny (off of I-5, exit 167, just north of downtown), heading west. It will curve right, turn into Western and then into Elliott (you are now traveling north). Stay to the right. Look for and follow the signs that say Magnolia. This will put you onto the Magnolia Bridge. From the bridge, take the only exit to the right. The signs will say Elliott Bay Marina and Smith Cove. The first building you come to is ours. Drive straight ahead and park underneath the bridge. Walk around the warehouse to the opposite side for the entrance.
