Details:
Every year, Seattle Works Day brings together thousands of volunteers to do work projects across the city. This year, Seattle Works Day is Saturday May 21 from 10am to 2pm, with a party afterwards at South Lake Union Park.

The projects can include anything from painting classrooms in public schools to doing landscaping in local city parks.Seattle Works also uses the day as a fundraiser for its Team Works and Exceed service programs. And another great part about the day is that you get to hang out with good friends and meet other people committed to public service.
